For over 20 years, I was the life of the party — the fun girl with shots in her purse, always ready to turn any night into an adventure. But too many drinks led to embarrassing moments, overwhelming anxiety, and a constant sense of disappointment. Drinking became a full-time job: prepping, recovering, spending money, wasting energy. For what?
Meanwhile, my depression and anxiety left me bedridden, binge-watching reality TV to escape the shame of the life I was living. Then I saw Lala Kent get sober on national TV, and I thought, "That's incredibly brave." Six years later, I'm finally embracing my inner Lala — and being sober looks better on me than being drunk ever did.
That's why I created Sober AF Zero Proof Bottle Shop. It's not just a store, but a community for my fellow FOMO sober friends to connect, socialize, and have FUN!
