Copyright & Takedown

THE WALL hosts music, art and offers uploaded by the people who made them. If you believe something on THE WALL infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act quickly. Artists 4 Life in the Sound removes infringing material and closes the accounts of repeat infringers.

Email thestarwall@icloud.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

1. The copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a representative list).
2. The URL on THE WALL of the material you want removed.
3. Your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who uploaded it.

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, email the same address with: the material and its former URL; your name, address and phone; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for Pierce County, Washington and to accept service from the person who sent the notice; and your signature. Unless the claimant files a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.

Copyright notices should be sent to Artists 4 Life in the Sound at thestarwall@icloud.com. Registration of a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office is in progress; this page will be updated when it is listed.
