Drink-Spiking Awareness

Make one person in every friend group very hard to fool.

Why this matters

Drink spiking is far more common than most people realize — and it's built to hide. The best study we have found about 8% of young adults — nearly 1 in 12 — reporting they had been drugged. But that counts only the ones who suspected. Most victims never find out, because it's built to look like a hangover or the flu. Since most never find out, 1 in 10 is the cautious count — and the real number sits above it. It happens at bars, house parties, concerts, even work events. The drugs used are often tasteless, odorless, and leave the body quickly, making them incredibly hard to prove. This isn't just a "college problem" — it happens to people of all ages.
