On the road a few years ago, I realized a truth of life here: Love it or leave it, life in the South Puget Sound is nowhere else on earth. I love it, and couldn't wait to return. The food alone was a daily reminder that life elsewhere is not life here, and our music, our ways, our arts and our understanding of life and humanity hold for me as unique and desirous a life as I can imagine. I hope you discover these ways for yourself. This Guide is my sincere introduction to who we are, and I believe it is as we say: You'll like Tacoma. May destiny be so kind to you.
