We gathered at the Wright Park W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory near sundown, then proceeded to the Gorsuch Library via Theater District and The Spanish Steps. .

Music is an essential element of Tacoma's Northwest cultural life, and in 2013 artist Jeremy Leveque crafted 54 Ocarinas shaped like adobe dwellings, and we inscribed them with images denoting compassion, our place in the world and the original voice of our people.
