The premise of this site is simple: Life is better inside our local community landscape. Where those close to us work to provide us their services, what we get in return is of more value to us and our families personally, to our community and to those visiting. Better quality foods, for example, better coffee, smarter shopping options - we the community know where to go for the best things here.
Local small business owners all over Town work 50, 60 and 70+ hours every week ensuring our ways and quality of life - the value they bring to our community is valuable beyond measure. Every single day we out-compete, out-serve and out-provide our big-box competition, in every area save one: Media. They buy a billboard and project an image - We embody the real thing.
So this Guide serves as an introduction to that very real value our community life embodies, and is one man's attempt to inspire our community to acknowledge the higher value we create, and to collaboratively cooperate: Collectively, we understand our landscape, and know where to go in our neighborhoods for the better lives our local business owners strive to create.
In short, we aim to provide access to this knowledge and exposure to the preferable local lifestyles and community culture that are our own - neighborhood by neighborhood, and to increase awareness of the better benefit our communities provide. By doing so we will divert visitors and resources directly into our local, independent community. They will support us, our ways of life will be encouraged and our local community culture will grow.
