Consider for a moment that Tacoma is the biggest town in Western Washington state, sitting center to one of the most inspiring and engaging landscapes the world knows.
Many thousands of people come right to our Gates every year - introduce these visiting outsiders to our local landscape, and they will desire to facilitate and support the better life we bring to them and to our own families ourselves.
You and I - single individuals, whether we're business people, artists or just good people, interact with these visiting people more than any corporate marketing firm could ever hope to, dream of or imagine. All we have to do is direct them to the better experience they're sure to have once they find their way 'into our Garden,' so to speak.
More people will be aware of us, and folk can sense when something is genuinely better for them. So our community will be enriched by the active participation of outsiders in our local economy, they in turn will share our whereabouts with others and life will be better for all.
