Representing Life in All Forms

All life is sacred: The Great Star represents what we share in common throughout our communities - whatever your race, however your life is expressed, there is a human spirit our lives reflect we have symbolized in the stars.

Peace w/ Purpose

Five years ago, a tradition was born in our city through music, celebrating peace & the life we share in common throughout our communities.

Stars 4 Peace are a means of demonstrating unity with like-minded others in our South Sound communities, providing a means to learn about one another in ways that promote harmony and understanding w/ generosity.
​For example, Adrienne of Tacoma's H.O.P.E. Victims Advocacy Foundation has
worked for more than a decade helping women escape the terrors of domestic violence, yet few have heard about her. Through us you can contribute to her work in a variety of ways.

2016 Our Hearts Align w/ Others

2016 was a harrowing year for communities across our city. Our response:
At Tacoma PRIDE we installed 49 smaller stars - 1 each for the 49 lives that were lost in the Orlando Pulse attacks. We included 6 medium-sized stars representing the colors of the LGBTQ Pride Flag, respectively.
The Great Star, above, represents the life we share in common across all of our communities throughout the neighborhoods of Tacoma, the region of the South Puget Sound and indeed the communities of the world.
