Windows Intrigue Others to Your Door

Windows present who you are and create desire for what you provide.
For examples, look at the Windows made for PSP (aka Puget Sound Pizza) and Urban XChange. These two Windows were created very differently: Julie at UXC wrote out a short, one page description of the things she desired be included. Martin at PSP took the time to sit down with me, fed me rum and bloody mary's and we talked for what must have been an hour or more - I was able to get a real feel for what he was about, learned much more than I would have had I only had a description to go by, and so he ended up with a more thorough write up. Both work, and I will be adding to Urban XChange's as time goes on - Julie was busy, she filled out the description and got the ball rolling; as time goes on we'll fill out her Window more. The object is to make people curious enough to want to know what you're about, and ultimately get them to check you out in person. |
The content in your Window comes from you, gets added to by me, and is edited by us both.
How are you unique ? What have you done to out-do your competition ? What drives you and what do you love ? All these help me describe what you're all about to others deciding where to go for what they're looking for in your field. What you offer and the atmosphere you do it in will come across in what you and I together present to the community through the Guide. Others browsing the Guide will learn about you and wonder what the experience is on the other side of your door. They'll check you out to learn more, and you'll have one more person out in the world singing your praises. Windows: The Creation Process
1) We get your content: a) Interview with me, or b) Fill out this form and email it to me 2) I create and write your Window, then 3) send you a link so you can read, critique and edit it. 4) We confer, edit and decide when it's right. |
