Arts & the Intellect
The import and significance of the Arts to our local culture during the early part of the 21st Century cannot be overstated. The ways we envision and experience our world, how we frame, re-frame, construe and ultimately understand local, regional and global concerns and change surrounding us will undoubtedly be determined by our ability or inability to convey our cultural perspective to one another, to those relocating to our City and region, and to those passing through as well.
Tacoma is a participation city and we endeavor to make ourselves accessible to everyone that ventures in. Join us live for the best of what we offer, whether it’s glass blowing at a hot shop or live music at a venue or house show. In this section are lists of museums, music venues, theatres and galleries our city boasts as stages for those expanding and expressing our understanding of humanity here.
